Our dear friend James Magee died of complications related to glioblastoma on Tuesday, March 9th.

We are raising funds for his beautiful nine-year-old daughter, Ella Grace, so that she can continue attending her beloved school, La Scuola. Ella Grace has been at the school since she was two years old and we’d like to ensure that she can continue there for years to come.

Those who knew James remember him as warm, caring, and joyful. He was quick to smile and laugh. When James spoke to you, he was genuinely interested in what you had to say. He was so gentle and kind and brought joy to so many of our lives. Now we have the opportunity to care for his family.

We know that James wanted to see Ella Grace grow up and live to her fullest potential. Any amount of generosity to Ella Grace and his wife, Michele, will help support them as they navigate this journey without him.
