Dear friends and family,
I am asking for your help during a devastating time for my dear cousin, Elizabeth Kumesh. She was recently involved in a traumatic car accident that left her with a pelvic fracture, left and right rib fractures, a spleen injury, and damage to her femur. At the scene of the crash, she required CPR and suffered internal bleeding. The severity of the accident initially left her in critical condition, but she has since been moved to the Intensive Care Unit, where she is now in stable condition.
The doctors have stated that she will need multiple surgeries, as well as extensive physical therapy on her long road to recovery. Her mother and sister are completely at a loss for words, overwhelmed by the weight of this tragedy. Yet, with the collective support, love, and guidance of everyone, we can help carry them out of this incredibly tragic moment.
Elizabeth is currently a senior in high school, and this accident has completely halted a school year meant for celebration. Because of her severe injuries, she will not be able to work or provide for herself. I am creating this campaign to raise funds that will directly cover any medical expenses the family may need to cover and essential expenses, while providing vital financial relief for her mother and sister to help them provide for her during this long period of recovery.
