Elizabeth’s mom has always been a pillar of strength for her family. She is now facing her third battle with cancer—stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her bones, lymph nodes, liver, brain, and neck. Her journey began when Elizabeth was just 8 years old, with a breast cancer diagnosis that led to a double mastectomy and a difficult attempt at reconstructive surgery. After five years cancer-free, she bravely underwent a new type of reconstruction, which helped restore some of her confidence.
Eleven years and three days after her first diagnosis, the cancer returned. A lump formed under one of her scars, eventually cracking a rib. Within six months, the cancer metastasized to her bones and, over time, spread to her liver, brain, lymph nodes, and neck. Despite these challenges, Elizabeth’s mom has remained incredibly resilient—raising 3 kids through her first diagnosis and now being a loving presence for her grandchildren. Her strength and determination inspire everyone around her.
The funds raised here will help Elizabeth’s mom with essential vehicle maintenance and a new furnace to keep her home warm. Elizabeth also hopes to give her mom the chance to do something she enjoys, bringing her comfort and joy during this difficult time. Though her mom has never wanted to ask for help, she has always been the first to support others. Your generosity would mean everything to her, easing her worries and allowing her to focus on her health and family. Please consider supporting this remarkable woman as she continues her courageous fight.
