Elizabeth Williams, my high school and long-time best friend, is facing an unimaginable loss. Her husband, Dennis Wayne Williams, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 59 in San Antonio, Texas. Dennis was a devoted father of five children and a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren. He was married to Elizabeth for 37 years and was a loving brother, son, and a friend to everyone he met. On Tuesday, December 9th, after a laughter-filled phone call with his youngest son, Dennis sat on his bed and quietly passed away, joining his mother in Heaven. His loss has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends, and the shock of his passing has brought unexpected challenges.

The family is now facing the difficult task of bringing Dennis back to Houston so they can celebrate his life and lay him to rest next to his mother at Paradise Cemetery. The costs associated with transferring his body and arranging a memorial have created a significant financial burden for Elizabeth and her family.
