My name is Julia Morales, and on behalf of my sister Elizabeth (Lisa) Morales, with a broken heart, my family and I share this devastating news: she lost her battle to ovarian cancer within 2 months once she was diagnosed. On November 4th, 2025, she has gone home. She was a longtime resident of Pilsen, in Chicago Born and raised. She fed all feral and domestic cats, she would walk in the middle of a blizzard to feed them food. She was a very good humanitarian, helping all and everything she could. Even giving a glass of water to a homeless person during a hot summer. She left one son and her thirteen year old granddaughter. At this time we are counting on our family and friends to help us during this difficult transition, we appreciate any donations that you could give. She was a longtime resident of the Pilsen neighborhood in Chicago, born and raised. Many people knew her as “The Cat Lady.” She fed all feral cats and domestic ones as well. She would walk in the middle of a snowstorm to get their cat food. She was a very well-known humanitarian, helping all who she could, even giving a glass of water to a homeless person in the summertime, and she would give her gloves or scarf to a person in need in the wintertime.

She left her only son and her granddaughter of 13 years old. At this time, we’re praying and counting on family and friends to help us during this difficult transition.
