With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of a wonderful kind soul. On June 29, 2020 heaven gained another angel and Kevin Sawatzky went to be free of the human world.
He was the man who always had a goofy smile plastered on his face and in 2016 he married one of my best friends. The time the spent together was short but he loved her more than I could have asked for. Its hard to parent or find a partner who can help raise a special girl but he stepped in to be the most amazing father to Megan and always treated her like she was his own. He wore his heart on his sleeve for her and her daughter and for that I will be forever grateful. I will miss his sense of humor and how he always felt the need to send something to make me laugh or brighten my day as I am sure anyone who came in contact with him would.
Kevin also loved his Yarrow community and they were his second family to him. He touched so many during his time at Yarrow Pizza and loved nothing more than delivering to his favorite people on a weekend night or any night to be honest. He always dropped off the pie with a giant smile on his face. If you would like to leave him one last tip on his adventure feel free to leave that in the comments. We would love to see the people he touched in the community through a job he loved.
With everything that has been going on the last few months in the world this is a hard time financially for anyone but the unexpected costs and raising a kid on your own is tough and I am hoping that you can find it in your hearts to help out this amazing woman who would give the shirt off her back for anyone in need. She has been such a support and advocate in my life and anyone else who crosses her path and needs a hand. Any money raised will go towards memorial costs and household bills so that Elizabeth can take the time she needs to heal and help her daughter heal from this tragic loss.
