I’m writing this with a heavy heart My friend Elizabeth Hernandez and her son, Anthony, need the communitys love and support. Anthony, 21 years old, had a life changing accident three months ago when a car accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. Since then he has fought harder than anyone should ever have to. Sadly, because of complications from his injuries, Anthony is now at the end of his life.

Elizabeth has been by his side every single day, loving him, advocating for him, and holding onto hope. Even in the middle of this unimaginable pain, she has chosen to think of others. She plans to donate Anthony’s organs so that other families can receive the miracle of more time with the people they love. That decision says everything about the kind of heart Anthony has and the way Elizabeth raised him.

Right now, Elizabeth is facing the cost of final arrangements no parent is ever prepared for. Anthony didn't have any life insurance, so we are hoping to raise enough to bury him and have a small service. I want more than anything to lift that burden so she can focus on being Anthony’s mom, not worrying about money. Any amount helps, and if you’re not able to donate, sharing Anthony’s story means just as much. ❤️
