Elisa is a loving mother who has already faced so much loss, having lost her husband just two years ago. She’s always been the one to be there for her children and family through the hardest times. Now, she’s facing a new and overwhelming challenge after being involved in a devastating head on collision. The accident left her with serious injuries. She was rushed into emergency surgery. She is currently being treated in the ICU for getting her spleen removed, multiple facial fractures, a laceration to her liver, and is also suffering with fluid in her brain that’s currently being treated along with many other things. She is now unable to work as she recovers, and the weight of medical bills and household expenses is growing heavier by the day. The funds raised here will go directly toward her medical bills, covering essential household expenses, and making sure her children are cared for while she heals. The doctors anticipate long term recovery in the hospital and rehabilitation for some time after.
