Eli is my best friend's 4-year-old son, and he has always been the most amazing, lovable little boy. He's full of life and energy, and he brings joy to everyone he meets. Until recently, Eli was completely healthy, but he started having headaches that worried his family. After some tests, an MRI revealed a large mass in his brain, along with some smaller ones. This news has completely rocked their world.
Eli underwent surgery to remove the largest tumor, which was the size of an orange. While that surgery was successful, the results confirmed what every family fears most: Eli has been diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. He has 3 remaining inoperable tumors. His care team has determined that his condition is terminal.
In the coming weeks, he will begin radiation in hopes of slowing the progression and giving Eli as much time as possible to be the amazing, funny, and sweet boy that he is.
His parents, Amber and Cody, are the best parents anyone could ask for. They have always put Eli above everything else, and now they are facing the unimaginable. The financial strain of mounting medical bills and extended time away from work is overwhelming, and they will need all the support we can offer as they focus every moment on Eli.
Eli is the last person in the world who deserves to suffer, and his family needs our help now more than ever. Please keep them in your prayers and send all the positive vibes you can. If you're able, please consider donating. Every little bit goes a long way.
Thank you to everyone who has helped so far, and thank you for your continued love and support.
