Recovery Fund for 7-Year-Old Eli Leroy After a Life-Threatening Dirt Bike Accident
Eli LeRoy, the seven-year-old son of Hannah and Steven LeRoy, sustained life-threatening injuries from a high-impact dirt bike accident on March 28, 2026. Eli suffered a collapsed lung, bleeding liver, a broken leg in three places, and serious lacerations. While his injuries were severe, God and the incredible team at St. Louis Children's Hospital have brought him through the most critical stage. Eli is now stable, but he faces prolonged healing and extensive rehabilitation.
Our First Request: Prayers
Above all, Eli and his family urgently need your prayers. We cherish every petition to God on their behalf as they begin the long road to healing.
How You Can Help
If your heart feels led to help further, this GoFundMe has been organized by Eli's grandparents, Lisa and Gary Briggs, to assist Eli's family with the expenses of his long recovery. While we are so grateful that Eli's primary medical bills will be covered by insurance, the hidden costs of prolonged healing are significant. As a small business owner, Hannah does not have traditional paid leave or sick benefits. Every hour she spends at the hospital or in therapy with Eli is an hour she cannot work. Your donations will go directly toward:
- Meeting Deductibles: to ensure Eli gets immediate access to the best specialists
- Essential Living Expenses: helping with mortgage, utilities, and groceries so Hannah and Steven can reduce their work hours caring for Eli and attending appointments.
- Travel and Logistics: Covering gas and meals during long days at the hospital and frequent specialist appointments.
- Home Recovery Support: providing specialized equipment or home modifications needed for Eli's comfort.
Hannah and Steven LeRoy are the sole beneficiaries of this fundraiser and will receive all donations directly through GoFundMe's secure transfer process.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time!
