The community of Thorsby, Alabama is mourning the heartbreaking loss of eight-year-old Eli Barnes, a vibrant youth baseball player whose sudden passing has deeply affected his family and everyone who knew him. Eli was known for his infectious smile and unwavering support for his teammates, bringing joy to the baseball field and leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path. His spirit and kindness touched the lives of many, and his memory will live on through the love and tributes of the community.

As Eli’s family navigates this unimaginable time, the Thorsby sports community is rallying together to honor his legacy. Planned tributes, including a special game in Eli’s honor, will provide families and players a space to remember his spirit and celebrate the joy he brought to others. Funds raised through this campaign will go toward funeral expenses, memorial tributes, and supporting Eli’s family as they face the challenges ahead.
