My baby was recently readmitted to the hospital after she began having seizures again. After a lot of testing, doctors found multiple little strokes in her brain that were causing the seizures. It’s been almost three weeks in the hospital, and this has been an incredibly difficult and frightening time for our family. I have had to step away from work to be with her at the hospital. Being by her side is the most important thing right now, but it has also meant that I am unable to keep up with our regular income and responsibilities. Nick has had to stay home and go to work to try and make ends meet, even though all he wants is to be by Elaina’s side during this time.

We really didn’t want to have to make another one of these because everybody helped so much the first time, but it’s been extremely hard. The funds raised will go directly toward covering medical bills and essential living costs while I focus on caring for my baby and supporting her recovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us get through this challenging period and ensure that my family can stay together and strong.
