**Help Edwin, Alba, Catherine & Rachell Rebuild After Devastating House Fire**

On the night of February 5th, our family lived through every homeowner’s worst nightmare. A fire broke out in our home and are now displaced due to the damages to the house.

The most important thing: Edwin, Alba, their daughters Catherine and Rachell, and their beloved pets all escaped safely. No one was hurt. For that, we are deeply thankful.

At the moment, the family is displaced and staying temporarily with generous relatives and friends who have opened their doors. We are so grateful for that support, but it’s not a long-term solution. They are starting from scratch with literally only the clothes they were wearing when they fled.

Edwin and Alba are hardworking, kind-hearted people who have always put their family and others first while their daughters Catherine and Rachell are sweet girls who support their parents and love their pets. They never expected to be in this position — and neither did we.

We are still in the early stages of working with the insurance company, and it’s unclear exactly what will be covered or how long the process will take. The road ahead — temporary housing, replacing essentials, and eventually rebuilding — is financially overwhelming.

En la noche del 5 de febrero, nuestra familia vivió la peor pesadilla que cualquier dueño de casa puede imaginar. Se declaró un incendio en nuestra vivienda y ahora estamos desplazados por los graves daños que sufrió la casa.

Lo más importante: Edwin, Alba, sus hijas Catherine y Rachell, y sus queridas mascotas lograron salir a salvo. Nadie resultó herido. Por eso estamos profundamente agradecidos.

En este momento, la familia está desplazada y se está quedando temporalmente con familiares y amigos generosos que les han abierto las puertas de sus casas. Estamos muy agradecidos por ese apoyo, pero no es una solución a largo plazo. Están empezando de cero, literalmente solo con la ropa que llevaban puesta cuando escaparon.
