Update: Hello My name is Crystal bachelier, I’m the surviving wife of Edward bachelier left with our children Bella and Edmund bachelier behind as well. My Husband declined very badly these past couple months and on after spending Valentines week in the hospital with him, on Feb 15th he was suffering too much and we had to make the heart breaking decision to take him off of oxygen and let him pass on his own while surrounded by family and loved ones he was hugged and kissed goodbye.
We are taking our time to grieve and take it day by day while also navigating through finances. We are so happy and thankful to all the support received while Edward was battling and now we are thankful for support while we try to figure out not jus finances but also how to live a life we never thought we would. Without Edward here so much changes not just finances but mentally and emotionally and how we move throughout our days physically is not the same. We hold onto strength and all of the kind support we receive. Thank you so much for being with us through this!
Edward’s Story
My name is Edward Bachelier, and I’m fundraising for myself and my wife, Crystal. I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and right now I’m unable to work. Crystal is my caregiver, so she’s also unable to work, and together we’re facing a difficult time trying to keep up with our medical and household bills.
The costs of my chemo treatments, medications, and past medical bills have added up quickly. Every month, we’re stressed about how to pay for our home and the essentials we need. We’ve reached out to organizations for help, but there’s always a long wait and a complicated process. Social security won’t pay out to me until February 2026, so we’re left trying to manage everything on our own until then.
Any support would mean the world to us. It would help us cover the cost of my treatments, pay off past medical bills, and keep our home running while we focus on my health. We’re grateful for any help and hope that with your support, we can get through this challenging time together. I have passed of Feb 15th 2026.
