Our beloved Eddie Mathis passed away at the age of 95 on January 11. Eddie was the kindest, most genuine person you could ever meet and those whose life was touched by him know this well. He moved the lives of so many through his deep love for God and our savior Jesus Christ. He was a devoted husband to Mary Ann for 25 years, and together they built a life filled with love, faith, and community. Eddie’s compassion and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him, and his memory will be cherished by all.

As we all come together to honor Eddie’s life, I am reaching out asking for support in helping Mary Ann with some of the costs of his funeral, burial, and grave marker. These expenses are higher than were expected, and I want to ensure that Mary Ann is able to give Eddie the dignified farewell he deserves without the added burden of financial stress. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward these costs and will help ease some of the stress on Mary Ann during this difficult time.
