Support for Eddie Amos's (Possie) Funeral Costs

Hi, my name is Latonia Easter. On April 1, my brother Eddie Amos was complaining of back pain, so our mother took him to St. Joseph hospital. Because he never complains about pain, for him to do so, it had to be serious. He was admitted for further testing. On April 2, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. On May 24, 2024, Eddie took an unexpected and drastic change, my brother lost his battle with cancer. His death came sooner than expected and is so heartbreaking. The grief has been almost unbearable.

So, on top of dealing with this devastating loss, my elderly mother was assured from her long-term auto insurance agent at State Farm that they had a new product that will cover final expense, should Eddie pass away with no preconditions. My mother agreed to purchase the policy and the agent took the three month advance debit payment.

However, she filed the claim and was informed final cost would not be covered because he hasn’t lived the waiting period. So, we are fundraising to cover the final expenses for my brother's funeral.
