Many of you already know that my brother, Ed Bussard, has been bravely battling chronic leukemia for the past several years. Throughout this time, Ed has shown incredible strength and resilience, facing each challenge with hope and determination. Recently, our family was dealt another heartbreaking blow when Ed was diagnosed with aggressive skin cancer. This led to a partial arm amputation, a life-changing event that has brought new challenges and uncertainty for Ed and his wife, Jackie.
While insurance has thankfully covered much of the medical care, the reality is that both Ed and Jackie have been unable to work during his treatments and recovery. The financial strain has made it difficult to keep up with everyday expenses like their mortgage, utilities, groceries, and the costs of traveling to frequent medical appointments. The emotional and physical toll of Ed’s health battles is already immense, and we want to help ease the added burden of financial stress.
Along with Ed's nieces Marcie Robinson and Michelle Goembel, we started this GoFundMe to support Ed and Jackie during this difficult time. Your generosity will help them focus on healing and moving forward together. If you’re able to give, any amount truly helps. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Ed and Jackie in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your kindness and support.
