Support for Eastlands during a difficult time

Recently, our family received heartbreaking news. My Mother's husband, Frank, and Poppa to our children- has been diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. The disease has progressed quickly, and while has always been a very active and avid cyclist, this illness has taken away his ability to do the things he loves the most.

After much thought and prayer, he and his wife have chosen to focus on comfort, peace, and time together. They are leaning heavily on God’s strength and the prayers of others to carry them through this season. Their faith is sustaining them in the face of deep challenges, and they continue to show courage and grace even in the hardest moments

This has been an incredibly difficult decision, not only emotionally but also financially. As their primary provider, his illness has left them facing medical bills and everyday expenses that continue to pile up. His wife is doing everything she can to care for him, but the weight of the stress, uncertainty, and financial strain is heavy.

Through all of this, their love for each other and their trust in the Lord remain unshaken. We share their story to ask for continued prayers, encouragement, and support. No family should have to go through something like this alone, and every small act of kindness — whether through words, help, or presence — makes a difference in their lives during this time.
