Support for Easten’s Medical Journey

Donation protected
Our son Easten was born six weeks early with a rare blood disorder called ITP, which has caused his platelets to be dangerously low since birth. Shortly after he arrived, doctors discovered bleeding on his brain. While the bleeding hasn’t gotten worse, it’s still a serious concern, and the medical team at Norton Children’s Hospital is monitoring him closely. If the situation changes, Easten may need brain surgery. Right now, he’s undergoing an MRI and receiving platelet transfusions, but his levels keep dropping, and the future is uncertain.

We are staying at the Ronald McDonald House to be close to Easten, but this all happened so suddenly that we weren’t prepared for the financial strain. We’re facing expenses for gas, food, and the essentials Easten will need when he finally comes home. On top of that, we’re worried about the cost of his surgeries, ongoing doctor visits, and mounting medical bills. Our immediate family and a few close friends are supporting us, but it’s a lot to handle on our own.

Our biggest hope is that Easten’s platelets stabilize and he won’t need brain surgery. We pray there are no lasting effects from the brain bleed and that he can come home soon. Any support will help us cover the costs of his care and give our baby boy the best chance at a healthy future. Thank you for keeping Easten in your thoughts and prayers.
