On Sunday, May 10th, my family experienced an unimaginable loss with the sudden passing of my 26-year-old nephew, Dyllan Johnson. Dyllan was a strong young man who fought many battles throughout his life. He graduated from Job Corps last year, had a passion for cooking, and loved being outdoors. His carefree, stubborn attitude will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
This tragedy has left my sister Rachael, her husband James Fortier (Dyllan’s dad), and their daughters Ember and Petal facing not only heartbreak but also financial hardship. James, the sole provider for the family, is only able to take 10 days of unpaid leave from work to grieve and support his family. The sudden loss and lack of income during this time have created an urgent need for help.
We are raising funds to help cover Dyllan’s funeral expenses and support the family with bills and basic needs while James is off work. Any support you can give will help ease their burden and allow them to focus on healing. Thank you for keeping Dyllan and his family in your thoughts and for any help you can provide.
