Hello everyone,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but today I am asking for help on behalf of two people who mean the absolute world to so many — my beautiful friends, Karina and Dylan.

Dylan is only 28 years old. He is a loving fiancé, an incredible father, a son, a brother, and the kind of friend who would drop everything without hesitation if somebody needed him. He is the type of person who lights up every room he walks into, someone who makes people laugh when they need it most, someone whose presence feels safe, comforting, and genuine. To know Dylan is truly to love him.

On Monday, 11th May, life changed in a matter of moments.

What started as a completely normal day at home quickly turned into every family’s worst nightmare. While doing regular household cleaning, a household cleaning vinegar triggered a severe asthma attack. Something so ordinary — something nobody could have imagined becoming life-threatening — suddenly became catastrophic.

Not long after paramedics arrived to help him, Dylan tragically went into cardiac arrest and was deprived of oxygen.

In an instant, the world stopped for Karina, their family, and everybody who loves him.

Since that moment, Dylan has been fighting the hardest battle imaginable.

The past few days have been filled with fear, heartbreak, exhaustion, tears, hope, prayers, and unimaginable uncertainty. Hospital rooms have replaced the comfort of home. Sleep has become almost impossible. Every phone call feels terrifying. Every small update feels monumental. And through it all, Karina has remained right by Dylan’s side — talking to him, holding his hand, loving him endlessly, and trying to stay strong while living through something no partner should ever have to face.

As of 13/05/2026, Karina and the family received the devastating news that Dylan’s organs were beginning to fail rapidly, and doctors do not believe he will survive.

Then on 14/05/2026, they were told that Dylan has a very low chance of meaningful brain activity, and that any significant improvement would truly be nothing short of a miracle. More testing is still being completed over the coming days to provide further answers and guidance for the family.

we have been told that there is nothing more that can be done to support Dylan.

so now all funds will be allocated to laying Dylan to rest.

Dylan was an organ donor and Karina has agreed to organ donation over the next couple of days so he can help heal the people that need it the most.

No words could ever fully describe the pain, shock, heartbreak, and emotional exhaustion this family is currently enduring.

Right now, Karina is carrying more than anyone should ever have to. She is trying to process unimaginable grief and uncertainty while also being there for Dylan and their family every single second she can. Work and finances are understandably the last thing on her mind, yet the reality is that life’s responsibilities do not pause during tragedy.

Bills still arrive.

Rent still needs to be paid.

Food, fuel, parking, travel, and everyday expenses continue to build while this family spends every possible moment beside Dylan at the hospital.

This is why we are asking for help.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will go toward easing some of the overwhelming financial pressure currently weighing on Karina and the family. It will help support them with household bills, everyday living expenses, travel costs, food, time away from work, medical-related expenses, and anything else they may need while navigating the hardest chapter of their lives.

Most importantly, we want Karina to have the ability to simply be present with Dylan — without the added fear and stress of how she is going to survive financially through all of this.

And while we continue to hold onto every bit of hope we can, we also want to ensure that no matter what the coming days or weeks may bring, Dylan and his family are surrounded by love, dignity, support, and care. We want his loved ones to be given the time and space to focus on each other, to say the things that matter most, to hold onto every possible moment together, and to honour the incredible man Dylan is and always will be to so many people.

If you know Dylan, you know how deeply loved he is.

If you know Karina, you know how selfless, caring, and giving she has always been for everyone around her.

Now they need that same love and support returned to them during the darkest time of their lives.
