Dwayne Ross is a man of God, an ordained minister of the Nazarene church, and someone who dedicated his life to helping others. He loved working in construction and, even more, leading people to Christ. In 2011, Dwayne was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and our family has walked this difficult journey with him ever since. Today, we sit with Dad in hospice, singing and praising God for the life he has lived and the love he has given us. We know that in the next few days, Dad will be heading home to heaven to join those who have gone before him.
As a small-town preacher and chaplain, Mom and Dad never had much, but they always gave everything they could to their community. Now, as we prepare to say goodbye, we are starting this GoFundMe to help my mom with funeral costs. Whatever is left over will be donated to the Journey Home hospice, a wonderful place that provides free care and peace for families like ours. Your support, no matter the amount, will mean so much to us and will help others who find themselves in this same position. Thank you for your kindness and prayers.
