Hi friends,

As many of you know, my folks adopted two amazing kittens about a year and a half ago. Dutch Boy and Ollie are the best companions; they have brought so much joy and love into my parents' lives.

Last week was a doozy. Dutch Boy had to have emergency intestinal surgery. Sadly, there were just no other options. Without the surgery, this sweet, young kitty would have died. Luckily, the surgery was successful!

Little Dutch is now home recuperating, being showered with love, gentle snuggles, and all the treats.

The recuperation from the cost, however, is not so gentle. As a couple in their late 70s on a fixed income, the unanticipated expense of $4,445.71 has been a blow.

I convinced my parents to let me organize a GoFundMe in the hopes that we could help them out.
