My brother, Duane VanDenburgh, passed away at the age of 59 on January 12, 2026. He lived in Beaver Dam, WI all his life, as does our elderly mom who is still living and in a nursing home.

Mom and I need financial assistance to help pay for my brother's final debts, his Celebration of Life, my travel on Amtrak train to Beaver Dam, can fares, accommodations, and return home to Chicago. He had a storage unit that Mom and I need to pay a month's rent on and sort through his belongings, decide what to keep, and what to donate. My hope is to also find a subsidized apartment in Beaver Dam so I can move and be closer to Mom.
