Hi, My name is Nancy Grandy, my sister, Rosemary Carter and I wanted find a way to support long time friends and community members who need our help.

Doug has been recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and has been getting radiation and chemo treatment since. Doug has been a volunteer firefighter and a first responder in Westchester, our local community, for 33 years. Doug is a valued member of the Westchester Fire Department - volunteering for fishing derby, working dances, he and Linda have been custodians for our Fire Hall for many years. Doug is always quick with a smile, a laugh and a joke, and always there to lend a hand. Doug has been working away to supplement the family income but is no longer able to do so. Now it is our turn to help them.

We thought the best way is with raising funds. The money can then be used in whatever way is beneficial to them - be it for medication, medical supplies, transportation costs or just help in paying bills. We just recently learned that their car broke down and is too expensive to be repaired so they are now looking for a new vehicle.
