On the morning of December 7th, we said our final goodbyes to our brother Doug Knighten Jr. We are now facing the hard reality of life without a son, father, brother, and grandson.
Doug is one of the most selfless people you would ever meet. He would give anyone the shirt off of his back in a heartbeat. He always greeted everyone with a hug and a smile and never left without saying “I love you.” He was intentional, kind, loving, and had the biggest heart. The Lord’s light truly shone through him.
Doug did not have life insurance, and we do not want this time to be a financial hardship for our mother or his son. If you feel led to donate or contribute any amount, we would truly appreciate it. Your generosity will help our family with any and all financial situations that are going to arise.
Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers, especially for the days ahead. Your kindness, love, and support are truly appreciated and it means the world to us. We could never express our gratitude.
“The Lord is close to the broken hearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed” Psalm 34:18.
