My name is Jonathan Sydow and I am fundraising to support the costs of the death of my mother-in-law, Dora Arnold. She passed peacefully on the 23rd day of January 2025 after complications that arose from an allergic reaction. While intubated, she suffered from a collapsed lung that she was too weak to recover from.

Dora Louise Arnold passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, the city where she was born and spent her life.

Dora enjoyed a fulfilling career as a sales associate in the craft department at Walmart before retiring. Her work reflected her passion for creativity, which extended into her personal life through her love of crafting and reading. These hobbies brought her immense joy and left a lasting impression on those who shared in her enthusiasm.

She is lovingly remembered by her son’s family: David Arnold, Joel Arnold, and Jonathan Sydow. She is also survived by her sister Belle Miles and brothers Walt Arnold and Mike Arnold. Dora was preceded in death by her sisters Shirley Barr and Anna Arnold; brothers Rodger Hutchins, Oscar Arnold and Elmer Arnold; and her parents, Elmer and Iona Arnold.
