Donovan graduated from Antioch High in 2017 with his twin brother Jaylin. He attended Sutter Elementary and Park Middle School along with older brother, Austin, who graduated Antioch High in 2016. The brothers lost their mother before school began. During senior year, Donovan and Jaylin overcame homelessness and great challenges to walk across the stage and earn their diplomas together. Graduation was huge joy for Donovan!

Donovan and Jaylin gained the hearts of many. Very few knew the challenging story behind their smiles. They participated in outreach programs and were first to help others. Donovan enjoyed working with elementary students and set a goal earn a college degree in Child Development. Donovan was source of strength for his brothers and friends, all who love him and are stunned by his death. Donovan was just 19.

Donovan persevered despite immensely tough circumstances. He sought to put others first and always had a bright smile. The news of his death brings heartache and pain to family, friends, and each of us who love him. I hope to raise money to help with expenses and the support that Jaylin and Austin will need as they grapple with loss of their brother.
