Donaven Townsend was my best friend and coworker at Subway. He was only 24 years old, full of life and kindness, and always brought a smile to those around him. Donaven loved music and was a funny, full of life young man who always brought joy to everyone he met. We shared many memories together, both at work and outside, and his loss has left a deep void in the lives of everyone who knew him.


On June 11, 2026, Donaven drowned in Lake Palestine in a tragic event. The shock and pain of losing him so unexpectedly has been overwhelming for his family and friends.
