On Friday morning, my brother Donald was on his way home after dropping his wife off at work when tragedy struck. A truck turned left into a driveway and then backed out, blocking the road. Donald’s car collided head-on with the truck, and in the aftermath, his car caught fire. In that terrible moment, we lost both Donald and his beloved dog, Ethel.
