My name is Sam Walton, currently I am trying to raise funds to help lay my father to rest and give him a proper memorial after an unexpected tragedy. Friday June 12th 2026, my father Donald Lee Walton Jr. suffered from cardiac arrest at home. I have been caring for my father for the last 10 years since my mother’s passing in my childhood home. I unfortunately found him in his bed and had to call 911/perform CPR until the paramedics arrived. My dad was a fighter and he made it to the hospital but unfortunately his brain had suffered from lack of oxygen and he was no longer truly with us. With the sudden event of his passing, he has left me to care for his dog who also was recently diagnosed with double cancer. Nala was his pride and joy as well as his surviving children and grandchildren. My father had planned her surgery to remove her second cancer on June 16th, 2026. My partner and I had to make the decision to cancel the surgery ahead of planning my father’s services. We are hoping to be able to honor my dads wish to keep her alive. Nala is the happiest most energetic dog and she just healed from her last surgery to remove the first cancer. Our goal is to be able to save the life of Nala and be able to hold the proper services for my father.
