Hey friends and family, our Mrskos family could really use some love and support right now. At the beginning of February, Don went to the ER after experiencing an unusual heart rhythm. Doctors performed a cardioversion—shocking his heart back into rhythm while he was awake. After further testing, it was determined that surgery was necessary, and thankfully, the surgery itself was successful.
Unfortunately, things took a scary turn. The night before his expected release, Don was found unresponsive in a chair with a temperature of 108. A rapid response team rushed in, placed him in a body bag, and packed him in ice up to his neck until the fever finally broke. When he woke the next morning, he felt the effects but had no memory of what had happened. The good news is that he is improving and was released Thursday.
As Don continues to recover, the family is facing mounting medical bills and the challenge of lost income during this difficult time. Any support you can offer will go directly toward helping with these expenses and easing the burden on the Mrskos family. Your support is greatly appreciated.
