For those of you that have worked with me over the last decade, you've probably seen or heard of my French Bulldog, Rick. He's 9 years old and frequently sits in on Zoom meetings, sometimes with his distinct snoring.

Last week, during a routine ECG, doctors found a tumor (chemodectoma) near the base of his heart. The good news is we caught it early and he's asymptomatic, so we'll start treatment this week.

I decided to start a GoFundMe not for Rick, but to raise funds for dogs with similar tumors that may require financial assistance. My intent is to distribute any funds raised to local veterinary hospitals which can then be applied to cover patient exams, procedures, etc.
