My Auntie Dodie Gail Douglas has always been a pillar of strength and independence. Recently, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and her world has changed dramatically. For someone who has always taken care of herself and others, it’s been incredibly hard for her to ask for help. Now, she is unable to work and is facing mounting bills, transportation challenges, and the daily costs of food and clothing.

Dodie has spent many years as a youth counselor, dedicating her life to helping children with a variety of disabilities. She has always been the first to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or a word of encouragement to those in need. Her kindness and generosity have touched so many lives, and now it’s our turn to give back to her.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and the community to help ease some of the financial burden that comes with her illness. Every little bit goes a long way, and Dodie, along with all of us who love her, will be deeply grateful for any support you can offer.
