My name is Ember, and I am reaching out during the most difficult time of my life. Recently, I gave birth to my baby girl, D’Lilah Alivia Miley, far too soon—at just 21 weeks and 5 days. For reasons still unknown, my pregnancy ended prematurely, and despite the efforts of the NICU team at All Children’s Bayfront Hospital, my little girl did not survive. The heartbreak of losing her is something I could never have prepared for, and the pain is unlike anything I have ever experienced.

The days since have been filled with grief, confusion, and overwhelming sadness. My family and I are now facing the unimaginable task of arranging cremation, funeral, and memorial services for our tiny angel. On top of the emotional toll, the financial burden is more than we can manage alone. I am struggling to keep it together mentally and physically, and the thought of returning to work feels impossible right now.
