Dixie is a 9 year old girl who has recently been diagnosed with osteosarcoma. She is currently on her second round of chemotherapy. We will keep this page up to date with her progress.

We as Southmead Community Sport have set this up as Dixie is one of our player siblings and the family are a big part of our club. We would like to help out in anyway we can and after speaking to Dixie and her family, she has told us she is planning to go to Disneyland America with the family after her treatment is finished so we would like to help out with the costs of getting her there. We know we can come together as a community and support Dixie and her family at this difficult time.

30/08/2024 - Dixie has completed her 2nd round of chemotherapy.

13/10/2024 - Dixie has started cycle 4

March 2025 - Dixie’s treatment has come to an end, she is officially cancer free. She still has a long road to recovery with regards to physiotherapy & rehabilitation, but she’s on the right path
