Hi, my name is Claire, and I'm posting this GoFundMe on behalf of our dearest friend Div, who is currently facing and fighting multiple acute health battles and needs our support.

Div underwent a procedure 2 weeks ago that was eagerly anticipated and aimed at helping the management of a long term chronic health condition.

Unfortunately, not only was this procedure unsuccessful, it left Div in significant pain for over 10 days before being rectified.

In addition to further debilitating symptoms relating to this, Div has now ended up requiring hospitalisation for a seperate acute condition, one that requires ongoing monitoring and medical support until it resolves.

As you could imagine all of the above has resulted in significant medical expenses for Div, with many of these cost in recent weeks unplanned and unexpected, resulting in significant financial strain and stress for Div when she is already so unwell.

Div’s work, gifts and essence have enriched and powerfully impacted so many of us, and she herself is such a people and community-led person.

We are asking for your support in helping Div cover her medical expenses at this time, with funds raised going towards medical debt, specialist appointments, hospital bills, and any additional care needs she has.

In addition to your financial support, which I know Div will be beyond humbled and grateful for, please as you donate send her a prayer of healing from your heart to her body, and for strength as she rides these immense waves.

I have always been in awe of Div and what she achieves and charters as a woman who has migrated to this country, living here without family support or a safety net to fall back on.
