SUPPORT FOR DISPLACED KHMER FAMILIES
Donation protected
This fundraiser is on behalf of Ginge Novell and our amazing team United Hearts SR ❤️
Cambodian Families Displaced by War
It was estimated that 140,000 Cambodians had been displaced by the recent border conflict, with many still displaced.
They now live in muddy fields under makeshift donated tents—hot, wet, unsafe, and unfit for families.
Many still remember one of the most horrific civil wars and genocides in history and have been through things many could not even fathom. They deserve peace, safety, and bare necessities such as food, water, hygiene products and of course safe shelter and living conditions.
Our current short-term action is spreading much needed aid, camp by camp, as often as we physically can, with supply runs of important basic necessities, and even toys, games and art supplies for the unimaginable amount of children affected by this. There are many smaller camps sadly not receiving any aid and are struggling to even eat or have access to clean drinking water.
There are bigger camps receiving some aid—but for the vulnerable like pregnant women and babies. We need to provide housing.
Going Home Packages – Support Displaced Khmer Families
Across Cambodia, many Khmer families have been displaced due to conflict and instability along the border. After weeks or months in temporary shelters, some are finally returning home — but they’re going back to damaged houses, empty cupboards, and an uncertain future.
United Hearts SR has launched the Going Home Packages initiative to help families restart their lives with dignity and hope.
The Cost of Hope
It costs around $150 to help one family get back on their feet.
This amount provides:
Food staples – rice, noodles, canned fish/meat, cooking oil
Hygiene items – soap, shampoo, toothpaste, detergent
Baby care – formula, diapers
Household basics – clean water, cooking utensils, bedding
Transport & delivery to reach rural villages and border areas
Why Your Support Matters
For a family returning with nothing, $150 can mean the difference between starting over with hope or with hardship. Every donation goes directly to supplies and delivery — no middlemen, no waste.
$150 = 1 family fully supported
$75 = half a package
$25 = contributes to a package
