I am organizing this fundraiser for a fellow disabled US Navy Veteran who is part of our Mount Whitney family and a close friend. He is currently facing one of the most difficult times in his life after the recent passing of his father, who was also a disabled veteran. The loss has been deeply felt, and it has brought unexpected financial challenges that are hard to manage alone.

Despite his own health struggles, my friend has always been there for others—supporting shipmates, friends, and family whenever he could. Now, he needs our help. The costs of living and funeral expenses not covered by the Veteran Administration have added up quickly, and every bit of support will make a real difference in his life as he navigates this tough period.
