Well, we finally have an answer for the shortness of breath: I have stage 4 lung cancer. Of course, with it already being stage 4, the prognosis is poor. The oncologist has told me that with chemotherapy, I might have 10-12 months to live, and without chemo, I would have about 4 months. Although I plan on living longer, wise advice says to plan for the worst and pray for the best.

This diagnosis has changed everything for me and my loved ones. The reality of facing such a serious illness is overwhelming, and the financial strain is significant. Chemotherapy offers a chance to extend my time, but it comes with high costs and many challenges. I want to make sure that my family is not burdened by medical bills or the expenses that come with planning for the end of life. My hope is to take care of funeral arrangements ahead of time so my loved ones can focus on healing and remembering the good times we shared.

I don’t really have a bucket list except to make my death easier on my loved ones by taking care of the funeral arrangements. Anything you give is greatly appreciated. As always, my love to you all.
