Our family is asking for help after a devastating motorcycle accident changed my nephew Devonte’s life forever. He suffered severe injuries that left him partially paralyzed and has already undergone two major surgeries. Devonte now has to travel 8 hours away for specialized rehab treatment. My sister, LaTonya, will be staying with him during rehab to help care for and support him through recovery. At the same time, she is also caring for her younger child back home while trying to manage the financial burden of being away from work without enough PTO.

We are raising money to help cover mortgage for LaTonya, rent for Devonte, household bills, transportation and travel expenses, food while away from home, lost income, expenses for caring for LaTonya's younger child, and medical and rehab-related costs. These are immediate and ongoing needs as Devonte begins his long road to recovery.
