Rest in Peace, our Beloved, Destiny Love Ayala.
Donation protected
With heavy heart, I am changing this campaign to support the funeral expenses for our beloved, Destiny Love Ayala.
Destiny transitioned on June 18, 2021. Her infectious smile and spirit is forever etched on our hearts. Love, laughter, art and drive are parts of her legacy.
While her family was already navigating through this tragedy, the costs of laying our angel to rest is now included.
Thank you for your continued prayers and kind words. Please share.
On June 8, 2021, Destiny Ayala graduated from East Bakersfield High School. Early on June 9th, she was placed on life support and has been fighting for her life since then.
Days earlier, her parents, Tan and William Ayala had relocated and transferred employment to Oklahoma. William had not even completed a full pay period. They immediately returned to Bakersfield to be by Destiny's bedside.
This tragedy is catastrophic for the family, emotionally, physically and financially. Destiny's parents still need to make arrangements to bring her younger brother to Bakersfield to join the rest of the family, and to secure local housing, while maintaining their Oklahoma residence.
Many in the community have asked how they could help this family. I thank you for your continued prayers, and ask that you donate any amount to help meet the costs associated with this tragic event. Our goal is that we reduce some of the burden so that Destiny's parents can continue their focus on supporting her complete recovery.
*I have permission from the Ayalas, and this will be the only authorized GoFundMe for Destiny Ayala and her family.
Thank you for your prayers, kind words and support,
Johnitta Clemons
