On Saturday, March 17, in Minto Ontario, tragedy struck and left the Hoover's with a hole in their hearts, when their youngest son and only brother was killed suddenly in a freak accident.
Derril, 22, was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, employee, teammate and coach. He was athletic, funny, caring, genuine, and liked by everyone who met and knew him. Derril played many sports, including hockey and baseball, and was a Minto Mad Dog, recently joining the Minto Mad Dog Minor Hockey coaching staff - which his dad said he really loved.
Derril has two older sisters who adored and doted on him, and will be greatly missed by his loving parents. They are a close knit family, and although nothing will ease their burden, I'm hoping we can come together and ease the financial burden that has fallen on them due to this unexpected tragedy. The funds donated will be used to cover funeral and memorial costs to give Derril a send off appropriate for such a wonderful and kind young man.
Any small dontation you can make will help the Hoover's during this difficult time. We would like to thank you, on behalf of the family for your kind thoughts and prayers, any donation if you are in a position to contribute, and for sharing your warm memories of Derril, surely it comes as comfort to know how loved Derril was by so many people.
