Derek, my older brother, is facing one of the toughest battles of his life. In May of 2026, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer—the same disease that took our grandmother in 2022. This news has been difficult for our family, but we are hopeful and confident that with treatment, Derek will make a full recovery. He will be out of work for several months as he undergoes chemotherapy and surgery, and the uncertainty of how to manage everyday expenses has added to his anxiety.

Derek is the kindest, most selfless person you could ever meet. He lights up every room he enters, gives without expecting anything in return, and is a strong Christian and devoted father to three beautiful children. Our family wants to do everything we can to support him during this challenging time, and that’s why we’re reaching out to our community for help.
