Support for Derek Sway's Medical & Family Expenses

On Sunday, October 18, Derek was admitted to the Sanford ICU in Fargo, ND with a severe infection and abscess in his lungs. That evening, he suddenly coded but they were able to recover a pulse. His family and friends spent the week in prayer and with hope in our hearts that a brain scan would show positive news. However, on Friday, October 23, the brain scan revealed our worst nightmare had come true. With difficulty, Kay and Derek's family made the incredibly difficult decision to remove him from life support. On Saturday, October 24, Derek Sway passed away, leaving behind a beautiful and shattered family and a wide network of friends who loved him dearly.

Derek was the sole contributor to his family's income. His wife, Kay, stayed home with their three children, Noah (9 months), Cora (3 in November), and Tessa (14). Your contribution will help offset Derek's medical expenses, as well as help offset the family's basic living expenses while they use this time to grieve.
