I can’t believe I’m writing this, it just doesn’t seem right but it is with profound sadness that I announce the tragic and sudden passing of Derek Klotz, age 17, on Tuesday November 18, 2025. Derek was taken too soon following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a beloved son, cherished brother, and devoted grandson. He leaves behind his heartbroken parents, LeAnne, and Eric Garrett, his siblings, Kayla Martinez, Eric Garrett III and Xavier Garrett, his loving grandparents, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him deeply.
