My husband Deondre Terry was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on May 14, 2024. We are grateful to God that he’s alive, because it could have been much worse. Although he survived the accident, he was left with a shattered right leg that required 2 surgeries to insert a titanium rod with screws and a skin graft to close his leg from the loss of tissue, muscle and skin. There is a possibility that he will need to undergo a 3rd surgery, which we won’t know until after the next 72 hours. He had to receive 4 blood transfusions due to the trauma and continuous loss of blood. His vitals have been up and down, trying to stabilize from the severity of the accident. We are asking for thoughts, prayers and any financial help that our friends and family can offer. He will need to undergo 3-4 months of physical therapy to learn to walk again, along with medical equipment that will aid in his recovery. The last week has been extremely hard but we are keeping our faith and being abundantly grateful that things weren’t as bad as they could be because it could have went another way.
