Dennis Yi was a beloved member of the property department of IATSE Local 52, serving as shop foreman on the Apple TV show Severance. He was an exceptionally phenomenal storyteller, a skilled fisherman, and at one time, a restaurant manager. Most importantly, Dennis was a loving husband to his wife Tina and a devoted father to his son, Ocean. Dennis battled with cancer for over two years, showing strength people rarely witness. Unfortunately, Dennis passed away peacefully last week.
Dennis touched many lives through his work, his passions, and his kindness. He was always willing to lend a hand, share a story, or offer support to those around him. His dedication to his craft and his family was evident in everything he did, and he inspired those who had the privilege to work alongside him. His passing has left his family facing both emotional and financial challenges.
We are raising funds to help support Dennis’s family during this difficult time and to ensure that Ocean can complete his college education, something Dennis deeply valued. Your generosity will help ease the burden on his loved ones and honor Dennis’s legacy by supporting his son’s future. We would ask for your help to see them through this difficult time and your support to help Ocean complete his college education. Only love always.
