Support for Dennis and Sarah Rozekrans

As friends of Dennis, Sarah and sweet little Helena we have watched them battle through some hard times. Dennis had heart problems in 2017 and after a successful operation they were looking forward to a heathy happy life together after Helena arrived.
This was not to be , Dennis was struck down with debilitating back pain, effecting all aspects of Dennis’s day to day life. Dennis now needs corrective surgery on the pre exisiting construction in his lower back, which is unstable. He suffers sever back pain and nerve pain that shoots down his right leg. He has been unable to walk properly and unaided since March 2018.
This year the biggest blow has hit this wonderful family, after finding a lump in his neck , Dennis was diagnosed with stage 1 Hodgkin's lymphoma. Chemotherapy treatment has commenced once a fortnight which has horrendous side effects - fatigue, carpal tunnel in both wrists, nausea and pain. Dennis will need Radiation therapy and this unfortunately may only be available in Townsville, which will cause great cost and upheaval to this young family.
Finally Dennis needs to be well enough to travel to Brisbane later this year for back surgery.
This situation has put a great financial strain on Sarah and Dennis. Dennis has been unable to work , and paying for care for Helena while Sarah works is costly. Add medical bills and future trips to Townsville and Brisbane - our amazing friends need our support.
We hope that the Mackay and broader community can give back to Dennis and Sarah the same love and support they have given to us in so many ways over the many years. You will never find a couple more willing to jump in and help - at only 31 years old Dennis has many many years ahead with his beautiful family!! All donations big or small will help make sure the road to recovery is less stressful. Thank you in advance for you support!
