It’s with a heavy heart we write these words in memory of Denise Perez.
Early morning on December 10th, 2025, Denise suffered from a severe asthma attack, which unfortunately left her without proper oxygen flow to the brain for an extended time, resulting in her being put into a medically induced coma. Days later, she was awoken from the coma and was unfortunately unresponsive. After extensive medical testing, Denise Perez was pronounced brain dead. She joined the heavens above on 12/18/2025.
Denise Perez leaves behind an 18-year-old daughter, Lily, and a 13-year-old son, Nelson, as well as her mother, Diana, who is now in care of her children.
Denise was an incredible woman who brought much love, joy, and compassion to many. She was the type of woman who would give you the shirt off her back if that’s what you needed, regardless of her own circumstances. She was always there to lend a listening ear to anyone who needed it. Denise stepped up to help any of her family and friends who needed her without a second thought.
Denise was an incredible mother to her children and loved them unconditionally. Denise always put her children first; they were her life, her everything. Motherhood was something she was incredibly passionate and grateful for. The love she showed her children on a daily basis was unmatched. Denise embraced every up and down motherhood threw her way and overcame it with the brightest smile on her face.
Denise was loved by many and brought a unique and contagious positive and loving energy into every room she walked into. Her smile could light up a room for miles and miles, and she could turn anyone’s tears into a moment of laughter and joy.
Denise was one of a kind, truly, the type of woman you meet in life who leaves an everlasting impression on you.
Denise will be greatly missed but never forgotten. The beautiful memories of her kindness and compassion will forever live on.
At this time, we are asking for help with funeral and burial expenses as well as help for her wonderful children she has left behind. Diana, Denise’s mother, has taken on the care of her children and due to medical reasons is unable to work. As we all know, this economy is tough on many, and adding on the expense of caring for two children will put Diana in a tough position financially. We are asking for additional help with day-to-day expenses such as bills, food, and housing.
Any and all support is truly appreciated. These funds will go directly to her children and Diana for funeral and burial expenses as well as daily care for her children.
We thank you in advance for your support and understanding during this devastating time for her family and loved ones.
